Introduction

Hello. I thought I'd take a moment to give you a little introduction to Night and Day Consulting and myself. If you any questions or are interested in our services, please feel free to contact me.

Night and Day Consulting is a branch off of The Dark Fire. The Dark Fire started as a group of friends getting together to pool our creativity and have a forum to share work and bounce ideas around. Unfortunately as time went on we each went our seperate ways, as often happens when children go to college. As we seperated I ended up with more and more of the responsibility and many of our joint projects died. But, the need for an outlet for creativey still exists and so The Dark Fire still exists, even if it is now a shadow of what it was.

Night and Day Consulting is the outlet for professional creativity. A chance to work with another person's idea or situation and help them develop either a part of it or the whole thing into something that they can be happy with. Whether it's designing a website for an up and coming business or helping take control of finances, Night and Day Consulting wants to help you get where you need to be.

As for myself, let me start with a quick and dirty of my resume. I got my bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in MIS, recently obtained my MBA with a concentration in Marketing, and currently work in the mortgage industry. I am on the board of and maintain the website for a non-profit community organization and recently stepped down as Treasurer for my local chapter of a non-profit educational organization when I moved from the area. I currently do work for Girl on Girl Concepts and Newmeyer Enterprises. On a more personal note, I have been designing and building websites for around 15 years, oftentimes helping websites I frequented with some of their gruntwork. I have done volunteer work for a number of humane societies, and was chosen as volunteer of the year for two years by one of them. I enjoy history recreation and spent a number of years as a member of a Cival War society and now I am a member of a number of medieval recreation societies. I also do a bit of woodworking, currently all by hand, such as carving and cabinetry.

The intent of this blog space is two fold. First, it is a temporary website until I can get the real one fully designed and coded. Secondly, it will be where I publish articles about business. These articles will cover a wide variety of topics, and incorporate a number of perspectives. My hope is that one of my articles will help somebody be successful at their business endeavors. If one article prompts someone to look at something a new way or gets them thinking about an aspect of their business that they didn't consider before, than this blog is a success. I also help people with their personal financial life, but I have a seperate blog for that advice called Finance 101s.

I will have a formal website up and running soon, but until then, please keep an eye out here and contact with with any questions.
